Beam way booster station

A laser based in a stellar system that is used to power a beam way spreads out and becomes less effective over distance. Some routes will add booster stations. A booster station is another beam way laser and an automated station that receives and converts fuel packets into power for the beam. Since the booster station is in deep space, fuel packets are delivered by slow ships at a tiny fraction of light speed.
