Beam way

A beam way is a very large, stationary, focused laser beam used as propulsion by vessels equipped with solar sails for navigation in outer stellar systems and between stars.
An interstellar beam way is likely to consist of several beam way booster stations. Booster stations in deep space are automated and resupplied with hydrogen fuel at regular intervals by slow ships. A fusion plant would waste the liquid hydrogen's packaging. Therefore, booster stations tend to use singularity power to convert matter directly to energy.
